Our Story

S & S Building Specialties Inc., formerly S & S Shelving Systems, was established in 1985 as a Closet Maid dealer, installing ventilated shelving systems for builders in the Charlotte market.

Over time the organization expanded from shelving to include door hardware, bathroom accessories, mirrors, glass, and shower enclosures. Today we are recognized locally as the Shower Door Super Store.

Today we are the premier supplier of frameless shower doors and glass products to both consumers and remodelers across the Carolinas. From design through installation, we provide prompt, courteous service and expert advice.
